About Us

Belstone Gallery was founded in 1986 by Marcia Bellinger, a retired English teacher. It is located on the Boardman River with a full view of Grand Traverse Bay in downtown Traverse City Michigan. Traverse City has a dynamic down town and Belstone enjoys a privileged location there.

We are an American craft and fine art gallery showcasing artists from Maine to California, including many area artists. One of our strong commitments to our artists is to creatively place each piece to its best advantage, resulting in engaging displays.

We are part of a thriving area art scene, playing an active role in downtown activities such as our biannual art walks, “Shop Your Community Day,” holiday open houses, as well as underwriting for the Traverse City Film Festival.

Our customer services include shipping, free gift wrapping, gift certificates and an informal bridal registry.
